Sofia Gottfried is a Mexico City-born, Vancouver-based mix media artist and illustrator. Working with copper etching and collage, Sofia explores themes of tenderness and vulnerability while focusing on having fun and embracing the silly side of life.

Sofia recently completed her BFA at Emily Carr University, where she majored in Illustration and completed a minor in Curatorial Practices.
